Later in the morning the dogs are then let out again for “playtime”! Friendly dogs can play together, whilst dogs that prefer human company enjoy ball games with staff, the older or quieter dog will benefit from a stroll around in the garden in the company of our kennel assistant.
The dogs are then given a light snack, and quiet down for a lunchtime snooze. In the afternoon the dogs are, twice more, let out into the gardens for more playtime. During this time we check their kennel is clean and tidy and we also spend time brushing or giving body rubs, most dogs seem to love this as we can get to those hard to reach places like under their collars and around their necks.
Their main meal is fed around sunset and after all the excitement of the day and with a content stomach, the dogs settle down for a good nights sleep.
